Improve Your Sleep Tonight

Make a small change that will make a huge difference by simply grabbing a book, putting away your phone, turning off the tv, and just reading for 30 minutes tonight.
I know it sounds too easy or too basic to work, but reading is one of the best sleep pills on the market.
Don't worry about the time, just read until you are tired and drift off to sleep. Maybe it means you read for 5 minutes or an hour it doesn't matter. 30 minutes is just a good starting guideline.
Also, the type of book doesn't matter. Some people say it needs to be fiction or it needs to be something boring. The truth is it can be whatever book you want to read.
Be disciplined with yourself and set a time you want to be in bed to read before you fall asleep, think of it as your bedtime. We forget these work well as children but then get too busy and practice horrible sleep hygiene ourselves. Often immediately turning to sleeping aids when most of the time being a little bit more disciplined with your nightly routine, putting away the screens, and grabbing a good book will do the trick.
